一昔前のロシア。卵の絵を描き続ける少女の行動を止めることが出来なかった母親は娘に向かって銃の引き金を引く。それは彼女も襲われていた苦しみから娘を解放するための唯一の手段であった。舞台は現代の東京。パソコンを前に働く月子。彼女のデスクの周りにはあの少女が描いたのと同じような卵の絵が貼られていた。彼女は子供の頃から目を閉じると卵が見えるという現象に悩まされていた。そのことを医者に相談しても身体に異常はなく、幻覚だと指摘されていた。ある日、その卵の孵化が始まる。そして、卵から生まれたのは得体の知れない怪獣だった。怪獣は彼女の身体を痛めつけ始めるのだが････。
