该剧依据Frank Miller及Tom Wheeler所著的未出书同名青年向小说改编,采取Nimue的角度描写亚瑟王的传奇,她注定会成为壮大但喜剧的湖中妖女/Lady of the Lake；剧谍报告Nimue母亲过死后,她不测埠与年青的雇佣兵亚瑟成了搭档,他们将结伴找寻梅林并递交一把陈旧的剑。而在路程傍边,Nimue将成为反抗乌瑟王及白色骑士团的意味人物。
